Using the Character Creator

A character is a reference your Comic, Manga, and GIF panels can point at so the same face, hair, and outfit show up consistently across an entire story, instead of drifting panel to panel.

Two ways to set one up

Generate one with AI

1. Name them and describe their appearance -- be specific: hair color and

style, eye color, outfit, any signature detail ("always wears a red ribbon").

1. Pick an art style (Anime, Manga B&W, Chibi, Webtoon).
2. Generate Preview -- costs 1 token, shows a reference portrait.
3. Happy with it? Save Character. Not quite right? Adjust the description

and generate again (each attempt costs another token).

Upload art you already have If you've already drawn or commissioned the character, skip generation entirely: use Upload your own sheet on the same page. Upload a clear, front-facing image (PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 5MB) -- it's stored and attached to the character with no token cost. Filling in the appearance description as well still helps: panels that can't see the reference clearly (a very wide or distant shot) fall back on the written description to keep details right.

Using a character in Studio

Open Comic, Manga, or GIF Maker, select a panel, and pick the character from the Character dropdown in the panel's Scene tab. Every panel using that character carries their look into the generated art automatically -- you don't need to describe their appearance again in the panel prompt, just describe what they're doing.

Public vs. private

Toggle the globe/lock icon on a saved character to make them public (visible on your profile and reusable in remixes by others) or keep them private (visible only to you). Characters start private.

Deleting a character

The trash icon on a character card removes it permanently, including from any panels that reference it (those panels keep their already-generated art -- only the link to reuse that character elsewhere is removed).
