FAQ.
What does the shōnen style actually look like?+
Bold thick outlines, speed lines and motion blur on action, muscular character designs with intense expressions, and integrated giant SFX lettering — the Weekly Shōnen Jump house style. Our shōnen manga style guide breaks down every element.
How do I get speed lines and impact frames?+
Pick the Shōnen style and name the motion in the prompt — "low kick, speed lines trailing the leg, impact burst on contact". Radiating lines, motion blur, and impact flashes are part of the style, so the more specific the action verb, the stronger the effect.
Can I keep the same fighter across a whole battle?+
Yes — design your character once in Character Maker, then reuse the same face, hair, and costume across every panel of the battle so nothing drifts mid-fight.
Can I make a full-width splash panel for a power-up?+
Yes. Shōnen pages run 4–6 panels with room for one full-width action spread. Generate the power-up as its own panel and give it the wide slot on the page for the reveal.
How many tokens does a battle chapter take?+
One token per panel. A 5-page fight at 5 panels a page is about 25 tokens — the free 10 a month covers a couple of pages, and a one-time Starter Pack (100 tokens) covers a full chapter with room to redo panels. Failed generations are refunded.
