Information you provide directly: When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address and optionally your name. We do not collect payment information at this stage.

Automatically collected information: When you visit our site, we automatically collect certain information including your IP address (used for country-level analytics only), browser type, referring URLs, and pages visited. This data is anonymized and aggregated.

Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics and PostHog for product analytics. These tools may collect usage data to help us improve the service. PostHog is configured to respect Do Not Track signals.

• To determine your Founding Member status (first 200 signups)

We will never sell your email address or personal information to third parties. We will never send you unsolicited marketing unrelated to Gootaku.

Data Retention

Waitlist email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, or until 12 months after our launch if you have not engaged. You can request deletion at any time by emailinghello@gootaku.com.

Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion (“right to be forgotten”), object to processing, and data portability. California residents: We do not sell personal information as defined under CCPA. You have the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale (which we do not conduct).
