Welcome to Gootaku. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Gootaku. You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/EEA) to use our services. By joining our waitlist or using our platform, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. Description of Service

Gootaku provides AI-powered tools for creating manga, comics, and GIFs. During the current pre-launch phase, we operate a waitlist and collect email addresses for launch notification. The full service features are described on our website and subject to change.

3. User Content and IP Ownership

Content you create using Gootaku's tools belongs to you. You retain full intellectual property rights to your original stories, characters, and creative works. You grant Gootaku a limited, non-exclusive license to display your public content on our platform for the purpose of operating the service (e.g., showing your comic in the community feed).

You represent that content you create does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights, including copyrighted characters, trademarks, or other protected works. Do not recreate copyrighted characters (e.g., Naruto, Goku) in your content.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Gootaku to:

• Create illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Generate content that sexualizes minors (strictly prohibited and will result in permanent ban and legal reporting)
• Infringe on third-party intellectual property rights
• Harass, stalk, or harm other users
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape our systems
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Founding Member Offer

The first 200 eligible signups may receive a Founding Member offer at $4/month. This pricing is locked for the lifetime of the account as long as the account remains active and in good standing. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms, forfeiting the Founding Member discount. The offer is for individual accounts only, non-transferable.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Gootaku is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may modify or discontinue features at any time. AI-generated content may be imperfect, biased, or unexpected — you are responsible for reviewing content before publishing.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gootaku shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration if necessary.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
