Acceptable Use Policy

Gootaku is a creative community for anime and manga fans. To keep it a safe, inclusive, and welcoming place for everyone, all users must follow this Acceptable Use Policy.

What We Encourage ✨

• Original characters and stories you have created
• Fan art that is clearly labeled as such and respects original creators
• Supportive and constructive engagement with other creators
• Age-appropriate content (our default is all-ages)
• Sharing your creative process and learning journey

Strictly Prohibited ❌

The following content and behaviors will result in immediate account termination:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — strictly prohibited, will be reported to NCMEC and law enforcement
• Copyright infringement — do not recreate copyrighted characters without authorization
• Hate speech — content targeting protected characteristics (race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, etc.)
• Harassment — targeted harassment, doxxing, threats, or intimidation of other users
• Spam — repetitive posts, unsolicited promotion, bot-generated content
• Misinformation — deliberately false content presented as factual
• Malware or phishing — links or content designed to harm users

NSFW Content

During our launch phase, Gootaku is strictly all-ages. Adult content features (with proper age verification and gating) may be considered in future versions. Any NSFW content on the platform during this phase will be removed.

Reporting

To report content that violates this policy, email hello@gootaku.com with a link to the content and a brief description of the violation. We review all reports within 48 hours.

Enforcement

Violations may result in content removal, warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination depending on severity. We reserve the right to take action on any content that violates the spirit of these guidelines, even if not explicitly listed.
