Questions you might have
- How many panels or videos can I make with tokens?
- 1 token = 1 manga/comic/GIF image. Video is priced by length: 3 tokens for 5 seconds, 6 for 10, 9 for 15. A typical short chapter (20-40 panels) uses 20-40 tokens. The 100-token Senpai pack covers 2-5 chapters, or about 33 five-second clips.
- Can I make a video on a free account?
- Yes — video is not locked, it is just priced. A 5-second clip costs 3 tokens and a new account starts with 1, so your first one is two free check-ins (about four days) or one pack away. Images cost 1 token, so those work from your first visit.
- What happens to my images on a free account?
- Generated images you have not published are cleaned up 7 days after they are made. Anything you published, and anything used as a character reference, is kept. Buying any pack keeps everything indefinitely, including the images already in your account.
- When do tokens expire?
- Nothing expires. Tokens you buy are yours for good, and the free ones you claim every 2 days stay in your balance too — there is no monthly reset to lose.
- Will I be charged again automatically?
- No. We don’t do subscriptions. You’ll only ever pay when you actively choose to buy another pack.
- What happens if a generation comes out bad?
- If the AI fails (timeout, content blocked, server error) we automatically refund the token. You’re only charged for successful images you actually keep.
- Do I own what I create?
- Yes. Everything you make on Gootaku is yours. You can export it, publish it on other platforms, or sell it. We don’t claim rights to your stories.
- Can I get a refund on a pack I bought?
- If you haven’t used any tokens from the pack, email [email protected] within 14 days and we’ll refund you. Used tokens aren’t refundable.
