機能

Everything a crime story needs.

Shadow as Subject

Extreme High Contrast

Black, white, gray only — no mid-tones softening the image. Hard silhouettes read before detail.

Hardboiled Captions

Rectangular caption boxes with terse, first-person narration instead of chatty dialogue. Want the full breakdown? Read the style guide.

よくある質問

FAQ.

What does the noir style actually look like?+

Extreme high-contrast black and white, deep black shadow fill, hard silhouettes, cinematic widescreen panels, and hardboiled caption-box narration — the noir house style. Our noir comic style guide breaks down every element.

Is noir strictly black and white?+

By default, yes — black, white, and gray with no soft mid-tones. If you want the Sin City trick of a single spot color, ask for it in the prompt ("everything monochrome except her red dress") and the AI will usually honor it.

How do I write hardboiled caption-box narration?+

Keep it first person, present tense, and short: "The rain didn't care. Neither did I." Put the narration in the caption box and let the panel carry the rest — noir dialogue is sparse on purpose.

Can I keep my detective's look consistent across a whole case?+

Yes — design your character once in Character Maker, then reuse the same silhouette and features across every panel of the story.

Can I make noir in manga format instead of a Western comic?+

Yes. Noir lives in Comic Maker (left-to-right, Western layout), but the Seinen style in Manga Maker gives you the same heavy shadow and sparse dialogue in a right-to-left screentone format.
