AI Manga Maker — Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the AI Manga Maker mobile application (“App”), published by Gootaku (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By using AI Manga Maker you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms are shared, common-use documentation across Gootaku products — for gootaku.com's own terms, see our general Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 12 years old to use AI Manga Maker. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Your Account

  • On first launch we create an anonymous account tied to your device.
  • You may optionally link an Apple or Google account to back up your work.
  • You are responsible for keeping your linked account credentials secure.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use AI Manga Maker to:

  1. Create non-consensual imagery of any real person (including deepfakes, misleading edits, identity impersonation).
  2. Generate sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or harassing content.
  3. Generate images depicting minors in inappropriate scenarios.
  4. Violate intellectual property— don't upload photos you don't have rights to.
  5. Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API beyond the in-app limits.
  6. Bypass payment — don't share your subscription account with others.

We may suspend access immediately for any violation. Repeat or severe violations may also be reported to law enforcement.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of photos you upload and text prompts you write. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Process the photo or prompt through our AI pipeline
  • Store the input and output in our Cloud Storage on your behalf
  • Display the result back to you inside the App

We do not claim ownership and do not use your photos to train AI models.

5. AI-Generated Content

AI-generated images:

  • Are produced by ivcreator (primary) or OpenAI gpt-image-1 (automatic fallback), third-party models.
  • May contain artifacts, inaccuracies, or unexpected output. This is the nature of AI generation and not a defect.
  • Carry the same usage rights as the generating provider permits — you can use generated images commercially provided you comply with that provider's usage policies.
  • We provide them “as is” with no warranty of accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose.

6. Subscriptions & Payment

6.1 Free tier

  • 2 generations per day, capped at 9 lifetime free generations.
  • After the cap you must upgrade to Pro to continue creating.

6.2 Pro tier

  • Weekly: $3.99 / week (3-day free trial for new subscribers)
  • Monthly: $9.99 / month
  • Yearly: $89.99 / year
  • 10 generations per day, no lifetime cap, ad-free.

6.3 Billing

  • Charges appear on your Apple ID account.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Cancel via App Store Settings → Subscriptions. We do not process refunds — contact Apple for refund requests.

6.4 Price changes

We may adjust prices. You'll be notified at least 30 days before a price change takes effect on your renewal.

7. Service Availability

We do our best to keep AI Manga Maker running 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may pause AI generation if we hit infrastructure or cost limits (rare; you'll see a clear in-app message and can retry later).

8. Intellectual Property

The AI Manga Maker brand, app design, and code are owned by Gootaku. You may not copy or redistribute them.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR MAXIMUM LIABILITY TO YOU IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR USD 50 IF YOU HAVEN'T PAID).

10. Termination

You can stop using AI Manga Maker at any time. We can terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Termination does not entitle you to a refund.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Istanbul, unless otherwise required by your local consumer-protection laws.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
