Video Maker is live in Gootaku Studio. Here's what it does — text-to-video anime clips, style options, timing, and how it fits alongside the other makers.

Video Maker is the newest maker in Gootaku Studio: turn a short text idea into a ~10-second AI-generated anime video clip, right alongside Manga, Comic, GIF, and Wobble Maker in the same account.

Here's exactly what it does.

Text-to-Video, No Timeline

Open Video Maker from Studio and, like every other maker, you start with one text box. Describe the scene — a setting, an action, a mood — and submit. There's no keyframe editor, no timeline, no clip trimming to learn. You get back a rendered ~10-second clip.

Generation is asynchronous: you submit the prompt, Studio shows the job in progress, and the finished clip lands in your account (with a real-time notification) when it's ready — you don't have to sit and wait on the page.

What "10 Seconds" Actually Means

Video Maker is deliberately scoped to short-form output — a single scene or moment, not a multi-shot sequence. That constraint is what keeps generation fast and keeps quality consistent: the model is doing one coherent motion, not stitching together a story. Think of it as the video equivalent of a manga panel — a single beat, not a whole chapter.

Style Carries Over From the Rest of Studio

Video Maker shares style vocabulary with the image makers — anime, manga, shōnen, shōjo, cinematic, chibi, and a few mood-specific presets like horror and action. Describing a scene in the same style language you'd use for a Manga Maker panel works here too.

Automatic Safety Net

If a generation ever comes back genuinely stuck or fails, the job is automatically retried, and if it still can't complete, your tokens are refunded — you're never charged for a clip you didn't receive. This is the same reliability principle every maker in Studio follows: you pay for output, not attempts.

Publishing

Finished clips work like everything else in Studio — they can be published to Explore alongside manga panels, comic strips, GIFs, and wobble animations, so a video isn't siloed into its own separate feed.

Cost

3 tokens per ~10-second clip — more than a single image (1 token) since video generation is more compute-intensive, but still covered by the same free monthly tokens and one-time packs as everything else. See pricing for the full breakdown.

FAQ

Is Video Maker actually live, or still in development?

It's live — describe a scene in Gootaku Studio and get a real ~10-second anime clip back.

Do I need a separate account or signup for Video Maker?

No — it's part of the same Gootaku Studio account as Manga, Comic, GIF, and Wobble Maker.

What happens if a video generation fails?

Failed generations are automatically retried, and if the clip still can't be produced, your tokens are refunded automatically.

How long are the clips?

Around 10 seconds — built for short, shareable anime moments rather than long-form video.
